IBM Security zSecure RACF and SMF Auditing (TK243G)

    Datum: 19.10.2017 - 20.10.2017

    ExperTeach München
    Wredestr. 11
    DE-80335 München

    Preis: EUR 1.400,00

This course describes audit concerns that IBM® Security zSecure™ Audit reports. The course explains auditing your RACF® database and z/OS subsystems such as CICS, IMS, and DB2. You can measure your security and z/OS system settings against the security requirements of a selected policy level. Also, you learn about an Access Monitor data set containing historic RACF access decisions statistics. This information is used to find profiles, permissions, or connections that are unused and can be removed from the RACF database. Furthermore, you learn reviewing the general SMF and RACF audit settings. This course explains how to use and interpret predefined SMF reports, and how to create customized SMF reports. Finally, the Library and sequential data set status and change analysis functions are explained.

Advanced Predictive Modeling Using IBM SPSS Modeler (V16) (0A035G)

    Datum: 19.10.2017 - 19.10.2017

    TÜV Rheinland Akademie GmbH
    Friedrichstr. 50-55
    DE-10117 Berlin

    Preis: EUR 700,00

This course builds on the courses Classifying Customers Using IBM SPSS Modeler (V16) and Predicting Continuous Targets Using IBM SPSS Modeler (V16). It presents advanced techniques to predict categorical and continuous targets. Before reviewing the modeling techniques, data preparation issues are addressed such as partitioning and detecting anomalies. Also, a method to reduce the number of fields to a number of core fields, referred as components or factors, is presented. The next two modules focus on advanced predictive models, such as Decision List, Support Vector Machines and Bayes Net. Following this presentation, two modules present methods to combine individual models into a single model in order to improve predictive power, including running and evaluating many models in a single run, both for categorical and continuous targets.

Authoring Rules in IBM WebSphere Operational Decision Management V8 (WB385G)

    Datum: 23.10.2017 - 25.10.2017

    ExperTeach München
    Wredestr. 11
    DE-80335 München

    Preis: EUR 2.100,00

This course introduces business users to IBM WebSphere Operational Decision Management V8. In this course, you learn the concepts and skills that you need to author, update, and maintain business rules with WebSphere Operational Decision Management.

Through instructor-led presentations and hands-on lab exercises, you learn about the core features of WebSphere Decision Center, which is the primary working environment for business users.

After an overview of Operational Decision Management and the underlying technical features that support rule authoring, the course provides an in-depth look at rule authoring in Decision Center. A realistic case study is used throughout the course to demonstrate how to transform business policies into formal rules. You closely examine the business case study and its underlying business object model (BOM) to understand how the BOM is reflected in the rule editors. You also learn how to write rules in Decision Center, including the Decision Center Business Console, which is new to version 8. The hands-on exercises prepare you for the type of questions and issues that can arise while authoring and maintaining complex and evolving business decisions.

In addition, the course covers Decision Center management features such as queries, analysis, and reporting. You also work with tests and simulations to validate rule behavior.

Note: Decision Center is used as the primary authoring tool throughout this course. However, skills that are mastered in this course are easily transferable to authoring rules in Rule Designer.

The lab environment for this course uses the Windows platform.
